The objective of the Kennel Attendant is to provide exemplary service while upholding the policies set forth in the Resort mandates. You are given parameters to work within, and should strive to exceed our guests' expectations. You will represent the Resort in a professional manner, and are expected to demonstrate high standards with respect to work ethic and code of conduct. Our team is looking for a qualified individual who is passionate about pets and their care. Kennel Attendants deal with the day to day operations of Bed & Biscuit Pet Resort, including but not limited to: Assisting with checking in/out pets, including payments. Tending to the dogs in the kennels, and cats in the cat room. Deep cleaning kennels between visits. Spraying and sanitizing outdoor play yards. Feeding, playing and giving required medication to animals. Managing play groups, and park time. Completing baths, nail trims and de-shedding services for any required dogs. General cleanliness of entire facility. Kennel Attendants are required to be: At least 18 years or older Reliable Punctual Proactive Detail oriented Flexible Organized Able to multi-task Able to handle all breeds. Able to lift 50+ pounds. Able to stand for long periods of time. Able to work outdoors in extreme heat Must have strong work ethic. Must have excellent time management skills. Must be able to work on your feet for long periods of time, including bending, squatting, lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, and reaching for items throughout the day. Most important of all, must have a strong love for animals!
