Duties Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling coats to meet owner specifications and breed standards Handle animals safely and compassionately during grooming procedures, utilizing animal restraint techniques as needed Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other hygiene-related grooming tasks with precision Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming preferences and provide advice on pet coat care Assist with dog training activities and reinforce good behavior during grooming sessions Maintain a clean, organized grooming area while adhering to health and safety protocols Offer exceptional customer service by addressing pet owner questions and ensuring a positive experience for both pets and their families Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming, including pet coat styling and pet nail trimming Knowledge of animal handling, animal restraint, and safe pet care practices Background in veterinary experience or veterinary technician/assistant roles is highly desirable Familiarity with dog training techniques and companion animal handling Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members Ability to lift heavy objects safely as part of equipment handling or assisting larger animals Passion for animal welfare, with a genuine love for working with pets of all sizes and temperaments Join us in creating happy, healthy pets through expert grooming!
