We are an established, locally owned grooming salon with a loyal clientele, a strong reputation in the community, and a team that genuinely cares about the quality of the work we put out. We are looking for someone available 3-5 days per week who wants to be part of a professional, supportive salon and build a strong, consistent schedule. Our top groomers currently earn approximately $1,200-$1,800 per week, depending on schedule, production, and gratuities. Why Yuppy Puppy? Established and growing clientele Consistent appointment volume Strong front desk and scheduling support 3-5 day workweek Busy seasonal demand Professional, clean, well-maintained salon Opportunity to build a strong book without having to find your own clients A team environment where quality and animal care matter What You'll Do Perform full-service dog grooming including bathing, drying, brushing, clipping, scissoring, trimming, and styling Create breed-specific and pet-style haircuts based on each client's preferences and the individual needs of the pup Safely perform nail trims, Dremeling, ear care, and other routine grooming services Handle dogs calmly, patiently, and professionally throughout the grooming process Recognize coat, skin, health, or behavioral concerns and communicate them appropriately Communicate clearly with our front desk team regarding client requests, grooming notes, timing, and any concerns Maintain a clean, organized, and professional grooming station Work collaboratively with the rest of the salon team to create a great experience for both pups and their owners What We're Looking For Professional dog grooming experience Strong clipping, scissoring, bathing, drying, and finishing skills Confidence working with a variety of breeds, coat types, sizes, and temperaments A patient and compassionate approach to animal handling Dependability and consistent attendance Strong communication and teamwork Attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work Ability to safely handle and assist larger dogs when needed We care about more than how many dogs you can groom in a day.
