Works with animals in shelters or rescue organizations. Works primarily with dogs and cats. Assists veterinarians with vaccinations or other procedures; screens people who want to adopt an animal from a shelter and provides information about caring for animals.

Job Description

We are currently part time pet care providers to provide our client's with in-home care on weekends and holidays. Most weekends, but hours do vary depending on volume of bookings. This is a great fit for animal lovers who enjoy working independently! The perfect addition to our team will treat our clients with the same care as they would their own pets. Candidates should be comfortable and capable of walking and handling dogs of all breeds and sizes, in addition to cat care and the occasional critter. Candidates will need professional communication skills to provide updates directly to clients. They must provide exceptional reliability and customer service. Pet care experience either professionally or personally, along with knowledge of pet behavior and body language strongly preferred, but happy to train an eager to learn candidate! $15/hour, mileage reimbursed, holiday pay
Requirements:
Comfortable with pets of all sizes and temperaments. Able to work independently from written instructions provided by pet owners, excellent time management, communicative, responsible, and respectful of others homes. Must have a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation with the ability to travel between clients homes. Ability to pass background check. Smartphone and ability to take pictures for client updates. Availability for multiple repeat visits throughout the day a must. Morning visits are completed between 7-10am. Midday visits are completed between 10am-2pm. Dinner visits are completed between 4:30-8:30pm. Strongly suggest applicants live locally for their own convenience of traveling back and forth to multiple households throughout the day.
Pay:
$15.00 per hour Expected hours: 1.0 - 10.0 per week
