Pacino's Pet Pantry & Spa is looking for a bilingual (English/Spanish), proactive, organized, sales-oriented animal lover to join our team. This position combines customer service, pet retail sales, grooming schedule management, and social media support. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, recognizes what needs to be done without constant direction, and actively contributes to the growth of the business. Responsibilities Provide friendly and professional customer service in person, by phone, and through our communication channels. Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and follow up on grooming appointments. Efficiently manage groomers' schedules, including cancellations and available appointment times. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and pet information. Process payments and sales accurately. Sell and recommend pet food, treats, supplements, pet care products, grooming services, and add-ons. Learn our products and help customers select appropriate options for their pets. Keep the retail area organized and stocked, and assist with inventory, expiration dates, and special customer orders. Take photos and videos of pets, grooming results, and retail products. Help maintain and use our pet photo spot to create engaging content. Assist with Instagram and Facebook content, including Stories, Reels, posts, promotions, and new products. Proactively help attract new customers, generate new grooming appointments, and identify opportunities to increase retail and service sales. Communicate effectively with groomers and management regarding customers, pets, appointments, and daily operations. Assist with store opening and closing procedures. Keep the front desk and customer areas clean, organized, and professional. Qualifications Bilingual English/Spanish - required. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management in both languages. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Proactive, energetic, and self-motivated , with the ability to take initiative without constant supervision. Strong sales skills and comfortable recommending products and services. Experience or good working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, and social media . Comfortable taking photos and videos and creating simple, engaging content. Must enjoy working with animals and be comfortable around dogs of different sizes and temperaments. Organized, dependable, punctual, and able to manage multiple responsibilities. Experience in pet retail, grooming salons, veterinary clinics, pet resorts, or other pet-related businesses is preferred. Knowledge of pet food and pet products is highly valued. Knowledge of grooming services and terminology is preferred. Experience with DaySmart Pet or similar scheduling/POS software is a plus.
