Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking reliable Part-Time Pet Care Specialists to support our daily animal care operations. This is a hands-on role that requires flexibility, initiative, and a strong work ethic. While part-time hours may vary, availability and dependability are essential due to the nature of animal care. Part-time does not mean limited availability. This role is ideal for candidates who want part-time hours but can still commit to a flexible schedule.
AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENT
(NON-NEGOTIABLE) To be considered, applicants must: Be available for a variety of shifts Have minimal to no schedule restrictions Be available to work weekends and holidays Understand animal care is a 365-days-a-year responsibility Applicants with fixed schedules or inability to work weekends or holidays should not apply.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leash walking and supervised outdoor breaks Feeding and administering medications as directed Intake and departure body checks Cleaning kennels, yards, dishes, laundry, and potty messes Monitoring pet behavior, health, and stress Learning dog temperament, body language, and socialization cues Assisting with individual and group play Communicating professionally with clients and team members Supporting team operations during high-volume periods
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Dependable and punctual team members Comfortable with physical, hands-on work Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments Willingness to learn and take initiative Strong communication and teamwork skills
REQUIREMENTS
Must meet state minimum age requirements Ability to lift and handle dogs up to 50-75 lbs. Ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods Reliable transportation
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Animal care or customer service experience Willingness to learn dog behavior and handling skills
Pay:
From $14.00 per hour Application Question(s): Must be able to reliably commute to the facility
