Duties Assist groomer with animal handling, including safe restraint and positioning during grooming procedures Support pet coat styling, pet grooming, nail trimming, and bathing tasks under supervision Ensure pets are comfortable and calm throughout the grooming process by utilizing animal handling techniques Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs, behaviors, and care instructions Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools, equipment, and mobile grooming vehicle to uphold hygiene standards Help with heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or animals when necessary to ensure safety and efficiency Driving, parking, and handling of grooming truck and trailer Experience Previous experience in dog training, veterinary technician work, veterinary assisting, or animal handling highly preferred Familiarity with pet coat styling, pet grooming techniques, and animal restraint methods is a plus Strong background in animal care including dog handling, equine experience or general companion animal handling Excellent communication skills for engaging with pet owners and team members effectively Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting and standing for extended periods throughout the day Customer service experience that demonstrates patience, empathy, and professionalism when working with clients and their pets Ability to drive, park, and reverse a truck and trailer Join us to make a positive impact on pets' lives while providing exceptional service to their owners!
