From bathing and trimming to breed-specific cuts, you'll ensure each pet receives personalized care in a lively, friendly environment. Your expertise will help strengthen the bond between pets and their owners while promoting overall animal well-being. Duties Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling to meet owner specifications and breed standards Handle animals with gentle restraint techniques to ensure safety and comfort during grooming procedures Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and coat maintenance to promote healthy skin and fur Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming needs, special care instructions, and pet behavior observations Assist with animal handling tasks such as dog training, veterinary support, or animal restraint when necessary Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, ensuring all tools are sanitized and equipment is in excellent condition Support pet sitting or pet care duties as needed to provide comprehensive animal services in a lively environment Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming with knowledge of pet coat styling techniques Strong animal handling skills across various species including dogs, cats, and equines Background in veterinary technician or assistant roles is highly desirable for understanding animal health needs Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for handling larger animals or equipment safely Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members Knowledge of animal restraint methods and pet care best practices to ensure safety for pets and staff Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude towards animals and their owners Join us if you're eager to bring your love for animals into a vibrant setting where every day is an opportunity to make pets look great and feel loved!
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
