Duties Safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments using proper animal restraint techniques Perform pet bathing, brushing, drying, and coat styling to meet owner specifications and breed standards Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other grooming services with precision and care Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming needs, special instructions, and pet behavior Assist with pet handling during grooming procedures to ensure safety and comfort for animals Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations, tools, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards Support other animal care activities such as pet sitting or assisting veterinary staff when needed Experience Prior dog handling experience or training in animal handling techniques Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience preferred but not required Knowledge of pet coat styling, pet grooming techniques, and animal restraint methods Experience working with animals in veterinary clinics or equine environments is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with pet owners Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for bathing tubs or equipment setup Familiarity with pet nail trimming, animal care procedures, and general animal handling practices Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values compassion, professionalism, and a love for animals.
