The Regal Beagle is looking for a Kennel Tech to join our team. The Regal Beagle has provided top notch care to both our customers and their furry family. We are an upscale boarding and grooming pet hotel for dogs and cats. If you have an upbeat, positive personality, professionalism, stamina, and great pet handling skills, we may have a Full-Time position available for you. Kennel Tech Successful candidates will have at least 1 year of experience, love of animals and motivation, and an upbeat positive personality. Animal experience is preferred. We are busiest on the weekends and holiday time frames so you must be available for most of these. We offer competitive pay based on experience,. We are a fast paced work environment. Requirements Must be able to handle dogs of all sizes and cats Must enjoy working with both people and pets Must have the stamina to walk large, energetic dogs as well as ensure our pet resort looks inviting and clean Must have a flexible work schedule where you can work during the week, as well as many weekends and holiday time frames Must be able to follow directions and comply with processes and procedures Must have a keen sense of observation when caring for the pets Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks; lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, etc. Knowledge of dogs in a group setting preferredRequirements:
- Must be available weekends and holidays
- Must be available for early opening shifts and closing evening shifts
- Must have prior pet care experience
