Responsibilities Provide attentive pet handling, including feeding, walking, and supervising playtime to promote healthy activity and well-being Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas through regular sanitation and disinfecting procedures Administer basic pet care tasks such as grooming, feeding, and animal restraint with gentle confidence Monitor animals for signs of stress or illness, reporting concerns to veterinary staff or management promptly Support team efforts when moving heavy supplies or large animals safely and efficiently Requirements Prior experience working with animals in veterinary clinics, pet sitting, or kennel environments is highly preferred Knowledge of animal handling techniques, dog training, and animal behavior is a strong plus Ability to perform heavy lifting and outdoor work comfortably in various weather conditions Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with customers and team members Experience with cleaning protocols specific to pet care facilities to ensure sanitation standards are met Familiarity with pet grooming, animal restraint techniques, and pet boarding procedures is advantageous A positive attitude combined with physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the day Join us in creating a safe, clean, and joyful environment for pets while building rewarding relationships with their owners.
