An Animal Care Worker or Manager manages animal care and grooming for a retail store that sells pets or for a pet grooming business. May also provide animal care and grooming at a kennel. Works with animals in shelters or rescue organizations. Works primarily with dogs and cats. Assists veterinarians with vaccinations or other procedures; screens people who want to adopt an animal from a shelter and provides information about caring for animals.

Job Description

Our bathing staff spends most of their time making sure each fur baby that comes in, goes home looking and smelling like a brand new dog/cat! This job entails taking the time to bathe, brush, clip & dremmel the nails in a fast paced environment; reading important information on each animal that comes in to make sure they are cared for correctly.
Requirements:
Attentive to surroundings Every other weekend availability Early morning shift availability Holiday availability Comfortable supervising animals of all breeds and sizes Able to work on feet for 8 hours Able to lift / hold at least 30 pounds Reliable transportation Open to training Friendly attitude Previous experience in a grooming salon, vet clinic, or boarding facility is a plus.
