Job Description

Overview:
We are looking for full-time & part-time Animal Attendants for a luxury pet resort in Evans offering boarding, daycare, training, grooming & wellness services. Animal Attendants are specifically responsible for caring for the boarding & daycare guests in collaboration with the other departments.
Duties:
Animal Attendant duties include but are not limited to; monitoring outdoor playgroups, following detailed feeding instructions for each pet, following strict cleaning procedures, upkeeping laundry/dishes, maintaining cleanliness of facility at all times & more.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should be a mature individual with a positive attitude, thrive in a fast paced environment, be able to work independently & as a team, be comfortable working outside, & have strong time management skills. Animal Attendants must understand the importance of being punctual & dependable as shifts are assigned based on the amount of canine/feline guests scheduled. All individuals will be required to maintain a positive work environment with zero tolerance for drama, gossip and/or bullying. This specific position is for an experienced Animal Attendant with the ability to accurately read dog body language & safely monitor playgroups of 8-10 dogs at a time. Must have knowledge of health & safety in regards to monitoring dogs indoors & outdoors.
Shift times:
6am-2pm 2pm-10pm Must be able to work weekends & holidays as needed as these are our busiest times.
Pay & Benefits:
The starting pay for the Animal Attendant position is $13/hr and increases to $15/hr after successful completion of the 90-day probation period. Staff are eligible to receive tips, employee discounts, & birthday pay. Full-time employees are eligible for PTO, health insurance, dental & vision insurance, 401(k) w/ matching, etc.
