Job Overview Paws & Peaks is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and animal loving dog bather to join our growing grooming salon in Hiawassee, GA! We are looking for someone who enjoys working with dogs, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a positive, team-oriented salon environment. Our bather plays an important role in helping our groomers stay on schedule and making sure every dog receives safe, comfortable, and quality care. What You'll Do Bathe and thoroughly dry dogs according to grooming instructions Brush, deshed, and prepare dogs for their groom Assist groomers with dogs throughout the grooming process Clean and sanitize tubs, kennels, tables, and work areas Keep the salon clean, organized, and safe Handle dogs calmly and safely Communicate professionally with coworkers and clients when needed Help maintain a positive and welcoming environment for both pets and their owners What We're Looking For Must genuinely enjoy working with dogs Previous bathing experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person Comfortable handling dogs of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments Reliable and punctual Able to work efficiently in a busy environment Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift/handle dogs when necessary Detail-oriented and willing to learn Team player with a positive attitude Must be dependable and willing to work scheduled shifts
Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
