Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess the skills necessary to provide exceptional grooming services for pets. As a Pet Bather, you will be responsible for ensuring that pets are clean, comfortable, and well-cared-for during their grooming sessions. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle animals safely and effectively. Starting pay is $9 but will consider more if you come with experience. You'll also receive tips from clients and our groomers. Duties Bathe and dry dogs and other pets according to breed standards and owner preferences. Safely handle and restrain animals during grooming procedures. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including washing tools and equipment. Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets' needs and grooming requirements. Monitor the health and behavior of pets during grooming sessions, reporting any concerns to the management team. Assist with other animal care tasks as needed, including feeding, walking, or exercising pets. Ensure compliance with safety protocols when handling animals. Experience Previous experience in dog handling or pet care is preferred. Experience with animal restraint techniques and heavy lifting is essential. Familiarity with pet grooming practices is highly desirable. Customer service experience is beneficial for interacting with pet owners effectively. Additional experience in equine care or kennel operations can enhance your application.
