Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for providing exceptional daily care for all dog and cat guests while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility. The ideal candidate enjoys working with animals, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable performing physically demanding work both indoors and outdoors. Schedule Requirements Must be available to work rotating weekends. Must be available to work holidays, as pet care is provided 365 days a year. Flexible availability is preferred.
Responsibilites:
Feed and medicate pets according to individual instructions Take dogs outside for regular potty breaks Supervise group & individual playtime, nature walks and seasonal swimming Clean & sanitize kennel suites, play yards and other facility areas throughout the day Wash food & water dishes; maintain laundry Clean & sanitize cat room including condos and litter boxes
Qualifications:
Genuine love for animals & commitment to their care and well-being Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude Comfortable working in various weather conditions including heat, cold and rain Ability to perform physically demanding work including standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Hours for the position: Monday through Friday 7:45 AM to 12:30 PM and 2:15 PM to 6 PM Saturday & Sunday 7:45 AM to 12:30 PM and 3 PM to 6 PM.
Pay:
$10.00 - $11.00 per hour
