Kennel Technician

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Kennel Technicians to join our team at Ashley Hills Pet Center. Located in Monroe, GA. We are a full service pet resort offering dog and cat boarding, doggie daycare, grooming and training. Kennel Technicians play a vital role in providing a safe, happy and healthy environment for the guests in our care. While the position isn't always just playing with puppies and kittens, being part of ensuring pets have a positive experience and their owners have peace of mind while they're away is very rewarding. We are currently accepting applications for both part time and full time employment!

• Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care such as feeding, administering medications, supervising potty breaks
• Clean & Sanitize boarding/ daycare suites, potty and play yards
• Supervise group playtime as well as nature walks and seasonal swimming
• Monitor health & behavior of pets and report any concerns to appropriate staff
• Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing and nail trims

Requirements and Skills Needed:

• Ability to safely lift/ push/ pull about 50 pounds
• Rotating weekends
• Holidays
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to handle pets of various sizes and temperaments
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Reliable transportation (Drivers License is preferred) Hours for the position are Monday through Friday 7:45 AM to 12:30 PM and 2:15 PM to 6 PM; Saturday & Sunday 7:45 AM to 12:30 PM and 3 PM to 6 PM.
