At least 2 years of pet grooming experience required. This is a job for a seasoned pet groomer as we are a high volume salon. This position is part time or full time, Tuesday through Saturday position. Groomers come in around 9am and leave when they are done. We require you to be able to groom 4 dogs at least a day, with at least 2 being large. In a 6 dog day, we see the groomers leaving between 2pm and 3pm. Pay is 40% commission with 100% tips. We provide bathers and a receptionist, so you only groom & call pet parents when your pets are done. Paid W2, weekly via direct deposit. At 6 dogs a day, we are seeing $1100-1200 a week before taxes per paycheck. You do need to be able to groom at least 2 large dogs a day. Grooming cats are a plus, but not necessary. Our clients are primarily doodles. We have an upcharge for doodles and any haircuts over 1/2in. We provide: ear cleaner, cologne, quick stop, coolant, dremel bands, cotton balls, tooth brushes, tooth paste & breath spray, an electric table, groomers helper, belly band, bar over table, and a cart for supplies. You supply all basic grooming tools, blades, shears, brushes, combs. We are closed every Sunday and Monday, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Eve through New Year's Day.
