Duties Provide attentive animal handling and care, including feeding, watering, and administering medications as directed Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas through regular sanitization and cleaning routines Assist with pet boarding, ensuring pets are comfortable, safe, and monitored throughout their stay Handle animal restraint safely during grooming, veterinary procedures, or behavioral assessments Support pet grooming activities such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming to keep pets looking their best Engage in outdoor work to exercise pets and maintain the cleanliness of outdoor kennels or play areas Assist with pet sitting duties by monitoring animals' behavior and ensuring their well-being at all times Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs and well-being Skills Prior kennel experience or experience working with animals Strong animal handling skills combined with knowledge of animal restraint techniques ensure safety for both pets and staff Ability to perform heavy lifting and team lifting safely during supply management or equipment setup Excellent cleaning skills focused on pet care facility sanitization to uphold hygiene standards Customer service skills that foster trust and positive relationships with pet owners Receptionist skills are a plus so we can have some assistance up front with checking in, checking out dogs, answering phone calls, and managing our reservations Outdoor work experience helps manage outdoor kennels and exercise areas efficiently Join us to make a difference in the lives of animals while working in a lively environment that values dedication, compassion, and teamwork!
