Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Be able to perform all duties expected of employees, including baths, cut nails, feed, administer medication, work the task sheet, wound care, clean duties, pet taxies.
Operations Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the kennel facility
- Manage a team of kennel staff and ensure proper training
- Provide excellent customer service to pet owners and address any concerns or inquiries
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment for the animals
- Monitor the health and well-being of the animals in the kennel
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Coordinate with veterinary staff for any necessary medical care
- Ensure proper feeding and exercise routines for all animals
- Handle any behavioral issues or conflicts among animals
- Maintain accurate records of animal care and client information
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a kennel or animal care facility
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical demands of the job
- Knowledge of animal behavior, health, and basic medical care
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual who is passionate about animal care and customer service.
