We provide training on customer service and dog behavior! SUMMARY Responsible for maintaining a positive client/pet experience that follows BLDH's Mission and Core Values. Ensure that each pet is treated with respect, is comfortable and safe, and is cared for in adherence to all Company Policies and Standards. Partner with Lodging & Daycare Shift Supervisor and Lodging & Daycare Manager to complete Lodging & Daycare sessions, meal times, cleaning, facility cleaning and maintenance, while monitoring animal health and behavior, providing excellent client service and any other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver outstanding client service through knowledge of products, services, and benefits available through BLDH. Follow through with all commitments made to clients and/or other BLDH team members in a timely manner. Execute activities assigned by the Lodging & Daycare Manager for daily, weekly and monthly chores. Execute Buddy times, ensuring proper supervision, and care of pets according to BLDH's Policies and Procedures. Communicate any supply and/or repair needs to the Lodging & Daycare Manager. Ensure all necessary documentation of meals, potty breaks, and that all interactions are completed. Complete pet's intro and exit evaluations. Ensure each pet receives outstanding service by providing a safe, enjoyable experience during each and every interaction. Thoroughly read Lodging enclosure cards before each interaction, even with familiar pets. Supervise group play sessions to BLDH's standards, always following proper Policies and Procedures. Clean lodging areas in accordance to BLDH's Policies and Procedures.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrate high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with clients, employees, corporate partners and vendors. Demonstrate high level of quality of work, attendance and appearance. Adhere to local, state and federal employment laws. Work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays. Ability to be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary. Any additional duties assigned by the Lodging & Daycare Shift Supervisor and/or Lodging & Daycare Manager.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Standing or walking 90% of scheduled shifts Required to lift, move and carry up to 40lbs Ability to control and walk a dog with a leash Ability to use a ladder and/or step stool Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation and reports
