Dog Groomer — LakePAWse Pet Services LakePAWse is looking for a kind, talented, and dependable dog groomer to join our growing team in Stockbridge, Georgia. We are a new, beautiful pet care facility created specifically for small dogs, with a strong focus on calm handling, individualized attention, safety, and making every dog feel comfortable and loved. Who We're Looking For We welcome both: Experienced GroomersIf you have professional grooming experience and can confidently handle a grooming appointment from start to finish, we would love to meet you. Newer Groomers / Groomers Looking to GrowIf you're newer to grooming, recently trained, or have the skills and passion but need the right environment to develop, we are willing to teach and help you grow. We believe in hiring for heart, teaching for skill, and growing together. What You'll Do Provide bathing, brushing, drying, nail care, and grooming services Handle dogs gently and safely throughout the grooming process Create a calm, low-stress grooming experience Communicate with pet parents about grooming preferences and their dog's individual needs Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming area Recognize signs of stress, discomfort, or unusual behavior and communicate concerns appropriately Follow LakePAWse's standards for safety, cleanliness, handling, and individualized care Work as part of a small, supportive team Compensation $20-$25/hour, depending on experience and skill level. For experienced groomers who are ready to work independently, LakePAWse also offers the opportunity to work on a 50/50 commission structure, which can provide greater earning potential as your grooming schedule grows. For newer groomers, we offer training, mentorship, and the opportunity to grow into higher levels of responsibility and compensation.
