Job Description

Sugar Hill Animal Hospital is looking for Pet Care Technicians that are self-motivated, upbeat and have a passion for animals. Client interaction is a big part of our job as well. You will be on your feet or outside in the elements 10+ hours a day. The purpose of this position is to provide care and the basic needs of animals that are being boarded, attending doggie daycare, getting bathed or that are patients of Sugar Hill Animal Hospital. Duties will include but are not limited to: o To provide daily care, feeding and exercise of boarding, and daycare. o To thoroughly clean and disinfect the ward areas of the hospital as often as is necessary (i.e. to ensure no cages or runs are soiled and odors are not apparent). o Maintain the facility grounds and ward areas o A Pet Care Technician also interacts with clients so they must be friendly and personable. o Applicants should be confident while handling and restraining animals while using appropriate procedures and possess the ability to walk animals o Must be able to lift and control 40lbs animals In addition, regular attendance, timeliness, and strong communication are essential.
