Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dog groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care, and excellent pet handling skills, and be comfortable driving a large vehicle. Duties Bathing, drying, and grooming dogs according to breed standards and client preferences Handling animals gently and effectively to ensure safety and comfort during grooming procedures Assisting with animal restraint during grooming and as needed Maintaining cleanliness of grooming tools, work areas, and kennels to ensure a hygienic environment Monitoring animals for signs of health issues or discomfort during grooming sessions Providing excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about grooming needs and care instructions Heavy lifting of animals Skills Experience with proper grooming is required Experience with animal restraint and pet care skills Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately, including heavy lifting when required Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners Patience and compassion when handling dogs of all personalities and behaviors is a must. This is a mobile grooming salon so you must be comfortable driving a large van This role provides an engaging opportunity for individuals passionate about animal care and grooming.
