Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team and help develop grooming business. As a Pet Groomer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of pets while providing exceptional grooming services. You will work closely with pet owners to understand their grooming needs and deliver high-quality care in a safe and friendly environment. Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and cats. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, identifying any potential issues that may require veterinary attention. Handle animals safely and effectively, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process. Maintain cleanliness and organization of grooming tools and workstations. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' grooming needs and aftercare. Assist in managing appointments and scheduling for grooming services. Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques and trends to provide the best care possible. Experience Previous experience in pet grooming or a related field is required. Skills in animal handling, including dog handling and general pet care, are essential. Familiarity with veterinary practices or as a veterinary technician is a plus. Strong customer service skills to engage positively with pet owners. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed when handling larger breeds or equipment. Experience with equine care is beneficial.
