This position will work in several areas of the resort depending on the needs of the day, including dog daycare, boarding/kennel care, and some front desk/customer service.
Responsibilities may include:
Supervising and interacting with dogs in our daycare groups Caring for boarding dogs throughout their stay Feeding dogs and preparing meals Administering medications as directed Cleaning kennels, play areas, dishes, and other areas of the facility Letting dogs outside and monitoring their health and behavior Helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment Assisting customers with drop-offs, pick-ups, questions, and basic front desk duties Working with other team members to make sure all dogs receive proper care We are looking for someone who is: Dependable and consistently shows up for scheduled shifts Punctual and ready to work on time Hardworking and willing to stay busy Positive and able to work well with a team Comfortable working around dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities Able to follow instructions and pay close attention to details Willing to clean and handle the less glamorous parts of animal care Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Schedule:
This position will primarily involve split shifts. Typical hours may be 8:00 AM-11:00 AM and 1:00 PM-6:00 PM , although hours can vary depending on where you are scheduled. Some shifts may be 6:00 AM-11:00 AM and 1:00 PM-4:00 PM . Because our dogs depend on us every day, dependability, punctuality, and attendance are extremely important for this position. Previous experience working with dogs is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person who is dependable, hardworking, comfortable around dogs, and willing to learn.
Pay:
$12.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 45.0 per week
