If so, we'd love to have you join our team! At Heartland Kennels, we're looking for someone who wants to do more than simply supervise dogs. We want someone who enjoys interacting with them, creating fun activities, celebrating holidays and birthdays with themed parties, making enrichment toys and games, taking adorable photos and videos, and helping create an unforgettable daycare experience for both our dogs and their owners. This is a very hands-on, active position. You'll spend your day engaging with the dogs, keeping them safe, creating positive experiences, and helping our daycare continue to grow. What We're Looking For A genuine love for dogs Creative, energetic, and full of ideas Comfortable being active throughout the day Able to lift up to 50 lbs Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated Strong attention to detail Positive attitude and willingness to learn Comfortable taking photos and videos for social media Someone who enjoys planning themed activities, enrichment, and special events Responsibilities Supervise dogs during group play and ensure a safe environment Create and lead fun enrichment activities and games Plan holiday, birthday, and seasonal themed events Make enrichment toys, obstacle courses, and other engaging activities Take photos and videos of the dogs for social media and client updates Help keep the daycare fun, clean, and enriching every day Scoop, mop, disinfect, sanitize, and complete laundry daily Maintain clean play areas and equipment Brush dogs upon request Communicate respectfully with coworkers and work well as part of a team Growth Opportunity We believe in rewarding hard work, creativity, and reliability.
