Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering top-notch grooming experiences for our clients. This role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to handle various breeds of dogs and other pets with care and compassion. Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, clipping, and styling of pets. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, identifying any issues that may require veterinary attention. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any health concerns observed during grooming. Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their questions or concerns. Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure their comfort and safety during grooming sessions. Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and products to provide the best care for pets. Qualifications Proven experience in pet grooming-portfolio of previous grooms is a plus Strong knowledge of pet care practices, including animal handling and restraint techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Familiarity with different breeds of dogs and their specific grooming needs is an advantage. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being.
