Job Description

We are a small, fast-paced veterinary clinic seeking hardworking team-players to join our kennel staff team! This role requires individuals with a passion for animal care, who demonstrate a strong sense of integrity to provide the best of care to our furry friends. Hourly pay DOE. Weekends/ Holidays are required. We are currently looking to cover part-time shifts, with flexibility for coverage. Skills, Traits and Experience in Strong Candidates Eager to learn and adaptable. Able to lift up 50 lbs comfortably. Detail-oriented, self-motivated with strong time management skills. Strong interpersonal skills with both clients and fellow teammates. Enjoys working on their feet in fun, active, fast-paced environments. Enjoys working indoors and outdoors, both alone and with a team. A genuine passion for caring for animals: The right candidate believes providing a clean & healthy facility for animals is deeply important. Kennel experience or knowledge in animal behavior, animal care, and animal restraint is preferred but not required, we will train. Job Duties Provide the highest quality of attentive care: walking, feeding/watering, administering medications to and cleaning up after boarding animals. Of course, play and cuddles as much as time allows! Assist veterinarian(s) and veterinary technicians with animal restraint and other duties as needed. Maintain a clean and healthy facility at all times; scrubbing and sanitizing kennels, yards and all client areas, as well as laundering bedding, blankets etc. frequently throughout the day. Bathe and brush boarding animals and hospital patients as needed. Provide excellent customer service to all of our clients, whether they be human, furry, scaled or feathered.
