Duties Manage daily grooming appointments, ensuring timely and high-quality pet styling and grooming services Supervise and support grooming staff, providing training on pet coat styling, pet nail trimming, animal restraint, and handling techniques Oversee pet handling procedures to ensure safety and comfort for animals during grooming sessions Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming needs, health considerations, and special requests Maintain cleanliness and organization of grooming areas, tools, and equipment in compliance with safety standards Assist with heavy lifting of animals or supplies as needed to ensure efficient workflow Monitor inventory levels of grooming products and veterinary supplies, placing orders when necessary Skills Extensive experience in pet grooming, including coat styling and pet nail trimming Strong knowledge of dog training techniques and animal handling skills Veterinary experience or background as a veterinary technician or assistant is highly desirable Familiarity with animal restraint methods to ensure safety during grooming and handling Excellent communication skills for engaging with pet owners and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large animals or equipment Compassionate approach to animal care with a focus on comfort and well-being Customer service-oriented mindset to create positive experiences for clients and their pets This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, love working with animals, and are eager to lead a dedicated team.
