Kennel Attendant

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and be committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for pets. As a Kennel Assistant, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our facility, ensuring that all animals receive the highest level of care and attention. •

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS

• Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising pets. Maintain cleanliness in the kennel area by cleaning cages, kennels, and common areas. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to staff. Assist with animal restraint during grooming or veterinary procedures as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Experience Previous experience in animal handling or care is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Skills in animal restraint and basic grooming techniques are advantageous. Familiarity with kennel operations is beneficial but not mandatory. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being is essential.
