Full Job Description Schedule:

Must be available 5 days per week , Monday through Friday, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM About Us Millennium Dog Walkers & Pet Care is a trusted dog walking and pet care company serving downtown Chicago. We are looking for a dependable, communicative, and animal-loving dog walker to join our team in the Lincoln Park and surrounding areas. This position is best for someone who is consistently available during the day, comfortable walking in all weather, and takes reliability seriously. Responsibilities As a dog walker, you will: Complete scheduled dog walks on time Safely enter and exit client homes and buildings Follow detailed pet care instructions Send clients updates, photos, and notes after each walk Communicate quickly and professionally with management Handle dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels Maintain safety and awareness during walks in busy city areas Requirements Applicants must: Be available 5 days per week between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM Be located near or able to consistently work in Lincoln Park and surrounding areas Have reliable transportation Have excellent communication skills Be extremely reliable and punctual Be comfortable working independently Be comfortable walking in heat, cold, rain, and snow Be able to follow instructions closely Genuinely love dogs and animals Have a smartphone for scheduling, updates, and communication Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is responsible, trustworthy, patient, detail-oriented, and calm around animals. We are looking for someone who understands that clients rely on us every day, so showing up on time and communicating well is essential. Previous dog walking, pet sitting, animal care, or customer service experience is a plus, but reliability and attitude matter most.
