Dog Walker and Pet Sitter 4 Legs and a Leash, Inc. Preferred Qualifications Ability to work 10am-2pm on some or all weekdays and/or cover evening drop-in shifts (8-9:30pm) Live within a 15-min driving distance of our core client base-Burr Ridge, Clarendon Hills, Darien, Downers Grove, Indian Head Park, Hinsdale, Westmont, Western Springs, Willowbrook Energetic and friendly demeanor This is not a seasonal position. We are looking to provide consistency for our clients and their pets. Responsibilities Perform neighborhood dog walks on leash Complete scheduled drop-in visits, including providing food, water, medications, potty breaks, and playtime Communicate with the office and clients through the company app Deliver excellent, timely customer service Provide appropriate attention, exercise, and care to all dogs and cats (and sometimes other critters!) Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older Reliable transportation is required. Willingness to complete Pet CPR/First Aid training Ability to maintain a fairly consistent weekly schedule (with flexibility and coverage provided when needed) Strong communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Genuine passion for animals and commitment to compassionate care

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
