Job Description

Position Overview:
As a Kennel Technician, you'll be hands-on in caring for the animals in our facility. From feeding and exercise to cleaning and monitoring, you'll be an essential part of our daily operations. This is a physically active role that requires energy, reliability, and a passion for animals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide daily care for dogs, cats, and small animals Feed animals and provide fresh water Administer medications as directed Exercise dogs through walks and supervised playtime Clean and disinfect kennels, runs, and common areas Observe animals for signs of illness or distress and report concerns Perform other miscellaneous animal care duties as needed
Must-Haves:
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Responsible, dependable, and self-motivated Reliable transportation to and from work Physical ability to handle dogs of all sizes, clean kennels, and be on your feet Willingness to work split shifts , weekends , and holidays (non-negotiable) Prior animal care experience is a plus , but not required
What You Should Know:
This is a physically demanding job — you'll be walking dogs, lifting, cleaning, and staying active We work split shifts to provide morning and evening care Weekends and holidays are part of our busiest times — your availability during these times is essential: We do the schedule a month at a time and try to alternate weekends and holidays based on staffing availability.

Compensation & Perks:
Competitive hourly pay based on experience Holiday pay at a rate of time and a half
