In this role, you'll be the key to ensuring our furry guests enjoy engaging activities, proper care, and a clean, sanitized space. Your dedication will contribute to their happiness and well-being while providing peace of mind to pet owners. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your love for animals with a dynamic team-focused environment. Responsibilities Supervise and interact with dogs during playtime, ensuring they are engaged and safe at all times Assist with dog handling, including feeding, walking, grooming, and administering basic pet care routines Monitor animal behavior closely to identify signs of stress, discomfort or aggression; implement appropriate restraint or calming techniques Maintain cleanliness of the facility by sanitizing kennels, play areas, and equipment regularly in accordance with pet care facility sanitization standards Support outdoor activities such as supervised walks and outdoor play sessions to promote exercise and mental stimulation Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' activities and well-being Assist with pet boarding and pet sitting duties, ensuring each dog's individual needs are met Use phone and computer system Skills Experience in veterinary settings or as a veterinary technician or assistant is highly valued Background in pet sitting, dog training, kennel work or animal handling enhances your ability to excel in this role Strong knowledge of animal behavior and animal restraint techniques ensures safe interactions Physical ability for heavy lifting, team lifting, and outdoor work to manage large or energetic dogs safely Excellent cleaning skills for maintaining a hygienic environment that promotes health and safety standards Customer service skills that foster trust and positive relationships with pet owners Pet grooming experience is a plus for supporting overall pet care routines This energetic role is perfect for individuals passionate about animal welfare who thrive in active environments. Pay:
