We are a small, groomer-owned salon that values quality over quantity. Our priority is always the safety, comfort, and well-being of the dogs in our care. Our salon is slow-paced, low-stress, and team-oriented. We believe grooming should be about providing quality work and excellent care rather than rushing through as many dogs as possible. What You'll Do Check dogs in and assist with client communication Answer phones and help with scheduling Bathe and properly prepare dogs for grooming Fluff dry, brush, and comb Perform full-service dog grooms Breed-specific haircuts and styling Hand scissoring and finishing work Photograph dogs for clients and social media Maintain a clean, organized, and safe salon Properly clean and maintain grooming Who We're Looking For We are currently looking for part-time help from October through December to assist during the busy holiday season, with the potential opportunity to continue into a full-time position. The ideal candidate is someone who: Has at least 2 years of professional dog grooming experience Has a strong understanding of grooming techniques and proper dog handling Has a genuine love and passion for dogs and the grooming industry Takes pride in the quality of their work Is patient, gentle, and attentive to each dog's individual needs Is creative and enjoys styling and finishing work Is open to learning new techniques and continuing to improve their skills Is reliable, punctual, and dependable Is comfortable working independently while also being part of a team Is someone we can trust with our clients, their pets, and our salon Attendance and reliability are extremely important to us. Because we are a small salon with a busy schedule, last-minute call-offs can have a significant impact on the team and the dogs scheduled that day. We are looking for someone who can consistently commit to their scheduled shifts. We are closed on major holidays, and we are very flexible when it comes to scheduling and finding hours that work for the right person. Why Join Our Salon?
