Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our team. As a Kennel Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing care and support for our furry friends. This position requires a strong love for animals and the ability to handle them with care. - Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, and exercising
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and other animal living spaces
- Monitor the health and well-being of animals and report any concerns to management.
- Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in pet care or animal handling is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of animal behavior and the ability to handle animals safely and effectively
- Must be reliable, responsible, and able to follow instructions
