We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dog Bather who is interested in growing into a Groomer role. This is a bather-to-groomer transition position , ideal for someone with foundational experience who is ready to expand their skills in a professional, high-end grooming environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling dogs of all breeds and sizes and will have a solid understanding of coat care, bathing techniques, and safe pet handling practices. You'll play a key role in preparing pets for grooming while actively learning advanced grooming techniques.Key Responsibilities:
Bathe, brush, and dry dogs using proper techniques and products Detangle and de-shed coats as needed Clean ears, trim nails, and express glands (if trained) Safely handle pets with care and patience Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bathing area Communicate any health or skin concerns to groomers or management Follow safety protocols and uphold salon hygiene standards Learn and assist with grooming techniques as part of career developmentRequirements:
Minimum 1 year of professional dog bathing or grooming assistant experience Strong interest in becoming a professional dog groomer Ability to lift dogs up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for long periods Familiarity with various coat types, shampoos, and drying tools Calm demeanor and ability to work with nervous or reactive dogs Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented Passionate about animal careGrowth Opportunity:
