As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to pets while ensuring their comfort and safety. Your expertise will help maintain the health and well-being of our furry clients, while also delivering exceptional customer service to pet owners. Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and other pets. Assess the condition of each pet's coat and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques. Handle animals gently and safely, using proper restraint techniques when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area, including cleaning tools and equipment after each use. Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets' needs and grooming options. Monitor pets for any signs of health issues or discomfort during grooming sessions. Keep detailed records of grooming services performed on each pet. Assist with general animal care tasks as needed, including feeding, walking, and providing companionship to pets. Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming or related fields such as veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience is preferred. Strong skills in dog handling and animal restraint techniques. Knowledge of animal behavior and comfort with various breeds is essential.
