Ruff Dayz is looking to hire a full time professional pet groomer. This position is commission based. We have a large established clientele base ready for you to jump right in. Responsibilities Provide extraordinary customer service with all customers Preform safe, caring and thorough pet handling, bathing, drying, brushing, nail trims, ear cleaning and gland expression during start to finish grooms Maintain daily cleaning tasks within work area to assure the environment is safe for all pets Work diligently and respectfully with other groomers on site and other team members within the store Sustain job supplies and procedures Qualifications Must have a valid drivers license Must have 2-3 years of experience Using own shears, clippers and hand tools is recommended but not required Familiar with most common breed cuts and pet styles Dependability, patience and initiative are musts for this position Candidate requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a fast paced team Required to understand animal behavior and conditions Ability to lift up to 80lbs and handle difficult dogs if needed Passion to create a friendly and safe environment for all pets in our care
