Duties Assist groomers with pet handling, bathing, drying, brushing, and coat styling to ensure quality grooming results. Handle pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, basic grooming and clipper work. Ensure proper animal restraint techniques are used to keep pets safe and comfortable during grooming sessions. Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming needs, special care instructions, and pet behavior. Help maintain a clean and organized grooming area by sanitizing tools and workspaces regularly. Assist with heavy lifting of animals or equipment when necessary to support smooth operations. Skills Experience in dog training or handling that demonstrates patience and understanding of animal behavior Knowledge of animal care practices including pet coat styling and animal restraint techniques. Strong communication skills to interact confidently with pet owners and team members. Ability to perform pet nail trimming, bathing, brushing, and other grooming tasks with precision. Animal handling skills across various species such as dogs, cats, or horses are a plus. Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude to ensure positive experiences for clients and their pets.
