Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Pet Bather, where your passion for animal care and grooming will shine! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for providing top-quality bathing and grooming services to our furry clients, ensuring they look and feel their best. Your attention to detail, gentle handling skills, and love for animals will help create a positive experience for pets and their owners alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your animal handling expertise while contributing to a caring and professional environment. Responsibilities Safely bathe, dry, and groom dogs and other small animals according to established standards Handle animals with care, ensuring their comfort and safety during grooming procedures Assist with pet restraint techniques to facilitate grooming while minimizing stress Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools, stations, and work areas Monitor pets' behavior during grooming sessions and communicate any health or behavioral concerns to the team Support pet care activities such as brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and coat maintenance Provide excellent customer service by addressing pet owner questions and scheduling appointments efficiently Requirements Prior experience in pet grooming or animal handling is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is a plus Strong animal handling skills with an understanding of pet restraint methods Experience working with veterinary technicians or assistants is advantageous Ability to lift heavy objects safely (heavy lifting) when necessary for equipment or supplies Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and breeds, including those requiring special handling or care Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us in creating a positive impact on pets' lives through compassionate grooming practices! Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
