Responsibilities Safely bathe, dry, trim, and style pets' fur to meet breed standards and owner preferences Handle animals with gentle restraint techniques to ensure safety and comfort during grooming procedures Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming stations and tools to promote a healthy environment Assist with pet handling during grooming appointments, ensuring pets are calm and cooperative Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming needs, special instructions, and aftercare advice Support pet care routines including basic veterinary-related tasks such as animal restraint or administering minor treatments when trained Assist with kennel duties, including animal handling and light lifting to support overall pet well-being Requirements Passion for working with animals, especially dogs and cats of various temperaments Prior experience in pet grooming or animal handling is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when necessary for bathing tubs or equipment setup Strong customer service skills to engage positively with pet owners and team members Experience with veterinary technician or assistant roles, equine experience, or animal care background is advantageous Excellent animal restraint skills and familiarity with pet sitting or kennel experience are beneficial Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and compassion Join us in creating happy, healthy pets through expert grooming and caring service!
