PET-SITTING AND DOG WALKING ASSOCIATE WANTED

Do you have above-average knowledge of pets and their care? Help us service our clients in Palatine and the surrounding area within their homes. We feed, monitor, exercise and care for their pets and do light home care like bringing in the mail and packages. We are looking for help with dog walking throughout the day as well as help with our vacation clients, visiting their pets several times throughout the day and night. Weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday) is required and any holiday work is appreciated and receives extra compensation. Flexibility is a must in order to accommodate our hours of operation of 7am-10pm. Required to be reliable and dependable with a valid driver's license and vehicle. Considerable amount of driving within our service area is involved. Communication and client interaction skills are a must. Ability to work reliably and independently is necessary. All applicants are subject to a background check and an Independent Contractor Agreement. May require the ability to lift and/or maneuver, control, monitor and care for pets of various species and weights, including large-breed dogs. Working knowledge of email, web based software, and smartphones needed. Preference will be given to individuals with pet-care backgrounds and flexible schedules.
