Join our vibrant pet care team as a Doggy Daycare Attendant, where your enthusiasm for animals and energetic spirit will shine! In this lively role, you will be the primary caregiver and playmate for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, ensuring they enjoy a safe, fun, and enriching environment. Your dedication will help foster positive behaviors, promote health and safety, and create memorable experiences for our furry guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors and engage directly with animals every day. Responsibilities Supervise and interact with dogs during playtime, ensuring they are safe and well-behaved Assist with dog handling, animal restraint, and behavior management to promote positive socialization Maintain cleanliness of the facility through pet grooming, sanitization, and kennel cleaning to ensure a hygienic environment Monitor outdoor play areas for safety hazards and perform outdoor work activities as needed Support pet boarding and pet sitting services by providing attentive care and updates to pet owners Assist with animal care routines including feeding, watering, and administering basic pet care tasks under supervision Engage in team lifting to safely move supplies or large animals when necessary Skills Previous veterinary experience or veterinary technician experience is highly valued for understanding animal health needs Pet sitting, pet boarding, or kennel experience demonstrating responsibility with animals Dog training skills and animal behavior knowledge to encourage good manners and social skills Strong animal handling skills with an emphasis on animal restraint techniques for safety Customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Pet grooming experience to assist with maintaining dogs' hygiene and appearance Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during outdoor work or when handling large animals or supplies Join us in creating a joyful environment where dogs can thrive!
