What You'll Do:
Provide mid-day dog walking, puppy visits, and cat care in the Wheaton area. Ensure the safety, health, and happiness of pets under your care. Communicate updates and send photos to pet parents after each visit.
Position Requirements:
Age & Safety:
Must be 18+ and willing to get Pet CPR & First Aid certified (fully reimbursed by us!).
Screening:
Must pass a comprehensive background check and driving record pull.
Location:
Must reside within a 30-minute drive of Downtown Wheaton.
Physical:
Ability to walk 5+ miles per day and comfortably handle large dogs or walk 2 dogs simultaneously.
Experience:
A genuine love for animals and prior experience caring for pets (ownership counts!).
Logistics:
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and a smartphone to access our scheduling app.
Schedule & Hours:
Primary need is for afternoon availability , with hours gradually increasing as our client base expands.
Bonus Points:
If you have availability for occasional evenings, weekends, or overnight pet sitting, that is a huge plus!
Note:
Nights and weekends are highly appreciated but not required.
