Responsibilities Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, brushing, hair trimming, and pet coat styling tailored to each dog's breed and individual needs Handle dogs safely and compassionately using animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming procedures Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other hygiene-related grooming tasks with precision and care Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming preferences, provide updates, and offer pet care advice Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, ensuring all tools are sanitized and equipment is in excellent working condition Assist with animal handling duties such as kennel cleaning, pet sitting, and managing animal behavior during grooming sessions Support veterinary or veterinary technician staff with basic animal care tasks when needed, including heavy lifting of larger animals or equipment Experience Proven experience in pet grooming or animal handling roles such as veterinary assistant, veterinary technician, or kennel staff Knowledge of dog training techniques and canine behavior management Familiarity with veterinary procedures related to animal care and restraint methods Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with pet owners Hands-on experience with pet coat styling, nail trimming, bathing, and hygiene maintenance Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly Prior experience working with diverse animals including dogs of various sizes and breeds is highly preferred Join us to make a positive impact on pets' lives while building your career in a lively, supportive environment.
