This is a commision based position part-time you will average about $1,000.00 or more per month. You will earn 40% commission of your sales starting out. Six months your commision will increase to 45%. After one year of service you will earn 50% of your commission. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services that meet the needs of both pets and their owners. Your expertise in animal care will help create a positive experience for our furry clients and their families. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and cats. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques and products. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' grooming needs and any concerns observed during grooming sessions. Handle animals with care, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the grooming process. Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and best practices to enhance service quality. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow in the grooming salon. Experience Previous experience in pet grooming is preferred but not required; training may be provided for the right candidate. Skills in customer service are essential to foster positive relationships with pet owners. Familiarity with veterinary practices or experience as a veterinary technician is a plus. Background in animal care, including pet sitting or dog training, is beneficial. Experience in animal handling or working in a kennel environment is advantageous for managing various temperaments of pets effectively.
