- Greeting client owners and addressing or answering grooming questions
- Bathing and clipping dogs to conform to a variety of breed-specific standard styles as well as client preferences
- Detangling and removing matted hair
- Bathing and drying your dogs
- Trimming nails
- Cleaning the ears
- Expressing anal glands
- Cleaning and sanitizing the work area daily
- Maintaining equipment
