Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to pet owners and visitors
• Assist with the daily care and maintenance of the kennel facility
• Feed, water, and exercise animals according to their individual needs
• Clean and sanitize kennels, runs, and common areas
• Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the supervisor
• Administer medications or treatments as directed by the veterinarian or supervisor
• Maintain accurate records of animal care and activities

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with animals is preferred
• Ability to handle and restrain animals of various sizes and temperaments
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with pet owners in a professional manner
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and performing tasks that require bending, stooping, and standing for long periods of time
